Best o’ Fall
Fest o’ Fall
Saturday, September 29, 2007 • 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.
Make August your “get ready” month!
Arts and Crafts:
Start knitting,
cross-stitching, painting – whatever your skill – something beautiful for the
Fest o’ Fall. Carey Hardison* - 615-367-4338 – careyhardison@bellsouth.net
Baked Goods and Goodies: It’s okay to bake ahead
and freeze; also, remember this booth when you harvest fruits and vegetables
that you can turn into homemade relishes and jellies . . . yum!
Pat Worsley* - 615-361-6005 –
lhworsley@comcast.net
Books: In addition to books, this booth will offer
CDs, DVDs, videotapes . . . unburden your shelves and make room for the
additions you will buy at the Fest. Shirley and Herb Stewart* -
615-874-1450 – 615-512-0184 – herbstew@comcast.net
Entertainment: A “first” this year, and what fun it
will be! Several talented entertainers have already been “booked” for this
event, and you’re invited to volunteer your own talent or that of your friends
for the line up. Ann Honig* -
615-352-2100 - Ann.honig06@comcast.net
Food and Drink: Start watching for sales on sodas
and bottled water; when you find a real bargain, pick some up to donate to the
Fest. Just bring them to the church kitchen marked “Fall Fest.” Your
generosity will help keep overhead low for this activity.
Kid’s Korner: Great activities, including a big bouncer,
hayride, and face painting, are planned. If you have games appropriate for
this activity, please let us know. Sherry Walker* - 615-904-9551 (cell
615-631-1884) – swalker@mtsu.edu - Andie Scott* - 615-367-2174 –
scoobydoochik@comcast.net
Pet Boutique: Special items for those “critters”
who make our lives better: bird houses, feeders, collars, treats . . .
Karla Deal* - 615-360-7099 –
akagraphics@aol.com - Michele
Buc - 615-366-6444 – bucm@aol.com
Silent Auction: Getaway weekends; sports events
tickets; personalized memorabilia; whatever your imagination and your
“contacts” can bring to this booth will help St. Mark’s raise much needed
funds. Cindy Page* - 615-459-9067 –
cynthiahpage@bellsouth.net
White Elephants: Check your closets, attics,
basements – give yourself more space and get rid of something you haven’t used
in several years. Put it aside for the Fest - and take a tax deduction! Let
your friends and neighbors know you will “relieve” them of their garage-sale
leftovers. We will begin accepting donations the first of September. If you
MUST get rid of something before then, we can handle it. This is the most
profitable part of the Fest.
